On Buying Smart

On Customisation

  • If standard sizing doesn't work for your proportions, customisation is usually the better choice.

  • A personal designer is ideal if you enjoy a bespoke experience, as they can help you visualise your design through sketches or references. A multi-designer store is perfect for those who prefer the ease of ready-to-wear shopping

  • Always leave allowance for alterations.

  • Look for brands that will alter your garment at a reasonable cost, even years later
